| Grizz writes: Here is a cheap but great guitar I purchased new online from Musicians Friend for $150 bucks. The body and feel are great. The problem with Squiers are in the electronics and some of the hardware parts. I made this a project guitar. I replaced all the electronics with high quality pots, wire, pickguard then loaded a set of Fender Fat 50's pu's. Now this baby screams. It has a real punchy sound and great vibe. I call this my "California Strat" or "Cali" for short. Love this axe. |
